That starts soon doesn't it? I can't wait for the new season :D

  2. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

Started today in the UK. Two weeks or so here, I think.

  3. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

I'd better fire up the internet machine to give it a watch! Tally-ho!

  4. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

What was wrong with the first ten?

  5. Anonymous Anonymous Says:

    Nothing. But Eleven is fantastic.

Although, in the grand scheme, Eighth Doctor is my favourite.

Sylvester McCoy was 8th wasn't he? He was alright, that was when I started watching Who. Cure of Fenric comes to mind as a sweet story.

I thought Tennant was pretty good although when he went crazy over the top and sprayed spit when he talked it was a bit much :D

I've got ep 1 of the 11th almost ready to watch!

No. Sylvester McCoy was 7. Paul McGann was 8. He's better in the audios than in his one outing in the TVM (although I like it for the cheese factor, too).

Tennant was fantastic. But the Tenth Doctor was kind of a douche; turning Martha into a soldier, turning Rose into a wimpering child who lost her mate, and mind-raping Donna. Plus one he lost Donna, he just spiralled out of control.

Enjoy-- I'm in love with how natural Matt is as Eleven.

I wasn't sure if you were counting the infamous TV movie :D Of course that still leaves McCoy back at 7 no matter what.

Glad to hear first impressions of 11 are good. I'll probably leave another comment once I get a chance to watch the ep later this week.

To be honest I love the grandness of Mr. Tennant, and so far Smith has a long way to go before he becomes the 908 year old time lord that blew me away on Voyage of the Damned. I can't wait to see how Matt Smith does in the coming weeks. We totally need a UW Doctor Who Fan Club!

I just find that strange, to me, I guess. I found Matt Smith left an lasting impact on me that I haven't seen since I first saw Eccleston in 'Rose'. Even my love of McGann in audio and Pertwee in video, despite being my favourites, never had that instant 'click' with me that Eccleston and Smith have.

I think I give Tennant a lot of flack because I really could not stand the character of Ten by the end of series 4. But he *was* fantastic and a hard act to follow.

    And yes. We do.
